Bookings & Payments

  • Your booking is confirmed once we receive a security deposit equal to one night’s accommodation.

  • For single-night stays, full payment is required at the time of booking.

  • Security deposits and pre-paid tariffs can be made over the phone using Visa or MasterCard.

  • A 1% surcharge applies to all card transactions.

  • Cheques are not accepted on arrival.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit, minus a $25.00 cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival forfeit the first night’s tariff.

  • After check-in, no refunds are available for early departure.

  • Refunds will only be issued when the park is officially closed due to flooding or another natural disaster. Weather conditions that do not result in park closure do not qualify for refunds.

  • Children riding bikes or scooters must wear a helmet at all times. This is a legal requirement in Queensland, and it is the responsibility of parents or guardians to ensure helmets are worn.

  • Electric scooters (e-scooters) are not permitted anywhere within the park.

  • No running, diving, or rough play in or around the pool area.

  • Please do not place chairs in the pool.

  • Glass containers are not permitted in the pool precinct.

  • Dogs must be kept on a leash if in the pool area. Dogs are not allowed in the pool at any time.

  • Appropriate swimwear must be worn.

  • The pool is for registered guests only.

  • Please keep noise to a considerate level so everyone can relax.

  • The pool may be closed at any time for cleaning, maintenance, or safety reasons.

  • Pool open times: 7.00am – 9.00pm.

Wi-Fi Access

We offer complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the park to help guests stay connected during their stay. Coverage is available across most areas of the property for general use such as checking emails, planning travels, or keeping in touch with family and friends.

Due to our remote outback location, connection and speed are not guaranteed, and Wi-Fi is provided strictly as a complimentary service, not an advertised or assured feature. Availability may vary depending on conditions, and we do our best to keep guests connected.

Alcohol & Smoking Policy

  • Guests are welcome to enjoy responsible alcohol consumption at their own site or in designated areas.

  • Disorderly behaviour or supplying alcohol to minors is strictly prohibited.

  • Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas, well away from shared facilities and common spaces.

  • Guests must ensure all cigarette butts are disposed of properly to help keep the park clean and safe.

Visitors Policy

  • All visitors must register at reception upon arrival.

  • Day visitors are welcome until 9:00 PM.

  • Overnight visitors require prior management approval and may incur additional fees.

  • Guests are responsible for the behaviour of their visitors at all times.

  • For insurance and safety reasons, cabins may only accommodate the number of guests included in the booking. Additional or unregistered guests are not permitted and will be asked to leave.

Pet Policy

  • We welcome well-behaved pets at Cunnamulla Cabins & Caravan Park and aim to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests.

  • Pets must remain restrained on a leash at all times while on park property.

  • Guests must ensure their pets do not cause disturbances. Excessive noise, including barking, must be prevented to avoid inconvenience to other guests.

  • Pet owners are responsible for the immediate and proper disposal of all pet waste.

  • Except for registered guide dogs, pets are strictly prohibited inside all accommodation and park facilities, including amenities, the playground, the laundry, and the camp kitchen.

  • Guests accept full financial liability for any damage, injury, or loss caused by their pet, including damage to cabins, fixtures, fittings, landscaping, or other park property.

  • Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gatsby’s Run Pty Ltd, its owners, operators, and associated entities, from any claims, costs, or damages arising from their pet’s presence or behaviour.

Pet-Friendly Cabins

  • A limited number of pet-friendly cabins are available. These must be booked in advance, are subject to availability, and attract an additional $25 pet fee per stay.

  • Pets are not permitted inside any other cabins under any circumstances.

  • Evidence of pets inside non-pet-friendly cabins will result in a $100 additional cleaning fee charged to the guest responsible.

  • Pets must not be left unattended if they may bark, disturb other guests, or cause damage.

  • Pets are not permitted in the camp kitchen due to health and safety requirements.

  • Aggressive, uncontrolled, or disruptive behaviour may result in pets being asked to leave the park.

  • The owner/operator reserves the right to remove guests without refund if pets are off-leash, causing disturbances, or not being managed responsibly.

Electric Vehicle Charging Policy

  • Electric vehicles must not be charged anywhere on the property at Cunnamulla Cabins & Caravan Park. This includes all powered sites, cabins, amenities blocks, and any standard power points throughout the park.

  • A dedicated EV charging station is available in the township of Cunnamulla, and guests are required to use that facility for all electric-vehicle charging needs.

  • For safety and compliance reasons, our insurance does not cover electric vehicles being charged from park power points. Any attempt to charge an EV onsite is strictly prohibited and may result in the guest being asked to leave the park.

  • This policy is in place to protect guest safety, prevent electrical overload, and ensure compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements.

Vehicle & Caravan Washing

  • To help protect the park grounds and avoid safety issues, washing of vehicles and caravans is not permitted onsite.

  • Our black soil quickly turns into thick, sticky mud when wet, and due to the soil type flooding and surface damage can occur very quickly.

  • We appreciate guests’ understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain safe, clean, and accessible grounds for all guests.

Enforcement

  • Management reserves the right to evict any guest or visitor who breaches park policies, without refund.

  • By entering or booking at the park, guests agree to comply with all policies and conditions.

  • All management decisions regarding the enforcement of rules are final.
